James Witty

James Robert 'Bobby' Witty 73 of Glasgow died Tuesday June 20, 2006 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Ray and Allie Groce Witty. Mr. Witty was a lifelong truck driver and was retired from the Dart Container Company. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Clarine Duvall Witty; 1 daughter Phyllis J. Witty of Glasgow; 1 son Robert Allen Witty of Glasgow; 2 grandsons Spencer Allen Witty and Steven Ray Witty; 1 sister Dorothy Burks of Indianapolis, IN; an Aunt Mary D. Carter of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday June 22, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm on Wednesday.
