Jeffrey Wayne Thomas

Jeffrey Wayne Thomas, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his residence in Glasgow, Kentucky, on December 11, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on March 1, 1968, in Horse Cave, Kentucky, Jeff was a dedicated roofer and construction worker who took great pride in his work throughout the years.

A man who cherished the outdoors, Jeff enjoyed fishing and working on various projects, often channeling the skills he learned from his father. His passion extended beyond work; he was an avid fan of Kentucky Wildcat basketball, passionately supporting his team. Known for his fierce love for family, Jeff’s ties to his loved ones were deep and enduring. He was of the Baptist faith, embodying the values and principles that guided him through life.

Jeff’s memory will live on through his mother, Geneva Harper Thomas; his brother, Robert Thomas of Glasgow, Kentucky; his sister, Melissa Thomas Bow of Glasgow, Kentucky; and his treasured nieces and nephews: MaRanda McCandless (Zack), Heather Thomas (Jay), Illyonia Reed, and Braxton Thomas, along with seven great nieces and nephews who were fortunate to know his love and affection.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Thomas, and brother, Larry "L.B" Thomas, both of whom he missed dearly.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 16th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the DeWeese Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, and Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
