John William Wheat, 61, of Glasgow, passed away on July 8, 2026, at TriStar Centennial in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on August 16, 1964, in Glasgow, Kentucky. Throughout his days, John found his greatest joy in the company of family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ashley Wheat; his son, William Lee Wheat, and his wife Jessica. John’s heart found immense joy in his grandchildren, Hannah Thomas, William Bryson Wheat, and Maddox Wheat, each of whom brought light and laughter into his days. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Gunner Birge and James Thomas Jr., celebrating the blessings of a growing family. John was all survived by his sister, Wanda Arms (Ronnie), and his brother David Wheat whose support and companionship enriched his years.
