John Franklin Hampton, Jr. “Johnny” age 67 of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away July, 2026. Born May 24, 1959, in Glasgow, Kentucky only son of John Hampton, Sr. and Bertha Mae Cheatham –Williams.
He attended Tates Creek High, Lexington, Kentucky and had a lifelong appreciation for music, soccer and new adventures.
John moved to Florida in 1977 working as a press operator and then continued on to work in computer technology support for multiple companies in California, Colorado, and Florida.
He is survived by his aunt, Joann Cheatham McCoy; cousins, Anthony, Jason, Crystal, Kathy, Lorrie, and Jerry Dewayne and many others.
His smile and personality will be missed by all who knew him.

The family has chosen cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
