Johnnie Jessie

Johnnie D. Jessie 83 of Glasgow died Thursday, February 06, 2014 at Glenview Health Care in Glasgow. Born in Adair County, he was the son of the late Harley and Virgie Lee Jessie. Johnnie was retired from T. J. Samson Community Hospital and was a longtime employee of A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home and Metcalfe Florist in Glasgow. He is survived by his wife Alyene Bragg Jessie; four sons Danny Jessie (Jo), David Jessie (Sharon), Jerry Jessie (Jackie) and Terry Jessie (Joy) all of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Earl Jessie and a sister Lillian Jessie. Funeral services will be 1pm Saturday, February 8th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2pm Friday.
