Joseph Sherrell Calvin Leech, aged 77, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away on September 13, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on January 29, 1948, in Glasgow, he lived a life full of purpose, warmth, and a sense of community that touched the hearts of all who knew him. Calvin was a faithful member of the Peter's Creek Baptist Church, where he thought of all the members as family.

Calvin had a notable career as a successful surveyor and realtor, where his dedication and expertise earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. He also proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He attended Rollins College, where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and graduated from Western Kentucky University, making many wonderful friendships at both.

Known for his vibrant personality, Calvin never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. His wonderful sense of humor could light up any room, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie wherever he went. He had a caring spirit and always prioritized the well-being of his family.

In his leisure time, Calvin was an avid fan of all college and pro sports, especially the Bowling Green Hot Rods. He found great joy in spending hours at the racetrack, watching his favorite horses run. He also had a deep appreciation for all types of music, which served as a backdrop to many cherished moments in his life, including many visits to his favorite city, New Orleans.

Calvin leaves behind a loving family, including his brother Terry Jolly Leech (Robbie), and sisters Jean Leech Lupica and Anne Johnson Leech. He is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews: Kathryn Vazquez (Jorge), Kelly Ritchie (David), Jeremiah Lupica, Joseph "Jake" Lupica, McKenna Lupica, Callie Lupica, Cameron Leech, and great-nephews Victor Vazquez, Christian Vazquez, and William Ritchie, and great-nieces Emerson Ritchie and Violet Ritchie. His cherished fur companion, Sam, also provided unwavering loyalty and companionship. Also, very special friends Eric and Holly Schwoebel, and Jill and Tom Worrell.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Calvin Leech and Marjorie Jeanette "Jean" Jolly Leech, as well as his beloved wife, Cheri Fuller Leech.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the Peter's Creek Church, BRAWA, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Calvin's life will take place on September 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM, all at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, Kentucky.

He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he loved and cherished.
