Kevin William Kelly

Kevin William Kelly, born January 3, 1960, in Fort Benning, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at home surrounded by loved ones. He was a God-fearing, traveling man, who devoted his life to service, community and family and especially the joy of spoiling his grandchildren. 

Kevin's roots spread far and wide across the globe as he touched the lives of many through childhood travel as a military brat, years of service in the military, and construction industry. A man who wore many hats from dedicated family man, heavy equipment operator, Army Ranger, superintendent, and front porch sitter. It was through his time with Amteck in the winter of 1994, that Kevin was brought to R.R. Donnelleys in Glasgow, KY, where he would meet his beloved wife, Ruth Ann Kelly. With her, he settled down and built a loving family that grew to embrace his traveling spirit to continue his wisdom and values throughout the states. 

After 25 years of dedication to Amteck, Kevin chose to spend his retirement by teaching his grandchildren how to farm, fish, build and repair, as his father once taught him and his siblings. His warm smile and charisma was loved by all he encountered and because of it, a community of close friends, neighbors, coworkers, and loved ones embraced him. He cherished this community the most as he navigated the challenges of his final days. It is because of them; his family finds strength and peace to walk into this next chapter. 

Kevin is survived by his loving children, Brandon (Sandra) Kelly, Jeanne Ann Kelly, Zachary Kelly; grandchildren, Jace Kelly, Jacob Kelly, Madison Strong, and Cameron Strong; and great-grandchildren, Royella Jones, and Willow Strong; his sisters, Kim (Jimmy) Gilvin, Brenna Penrose (Steve); and many nephews, nieces, and special family members, all who held a special place in his heart. 

Kevin is now reunited with those who went before him, his father, Alan Carlyle Kelly; his mother, Namomi Jeanne Kelly; his brother, Michael Kelly, and his brother, Bruce Kelly, all who he longed to see as he entered heaven. 

Funeral services will be held at 3:00P.M., Saturday, August 8, 2026, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00A.M., Saturday, until time for services at the funeral home. 

His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the stories he shared as he will be long remembered by all who knew him.
