Lear Davidson

Lear Helen Davidson, age 79, died Friday, November 4, 2016 at Diversicare in Glasgow. She was born on May 3, 1937, a daughter of the late William Lee and Mattie Houchens. On May 5, 1952, she married John Winburn Davidson, who preceded her in death in October of 2005. She was a housewife and furniture refinisher in their home-based business and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Willie D. Houchens, and twin sisters Doris Etherton and Dorothy Dickerson. She is survived by one sister, Levada Edwards and a brother, Toney Houchens (Pauline). She is survived by her children, Pam Dyer (Jim), Wayne Davidson (Jackie) and Scott Davidson, grandchildren Wes Elmore, Katie Elmore Minton (Billy), Tiffany Davidson, Whitney Davidson and Courtney Davidson, and one great-granddaughter, Arabelle Grace Elmore, three great grandsons, Linkin Minton, Landon Minton and Layke Elmore. A host of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, November 6th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4pm until 8pm and Sunday morning until time for the service.
