Lillie Green

Lillie Mae Green 85 of Glasgow died Monday April 4th at her home. She was a former resident of Regency Apts. in Glasgow. She was born in Monroe County the daughter of the late Sammy Allen and Donnie Pearl Gentry Deckard. Mrs. Green was a former Handmacher employee and was a member of the Hanging Fork Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 daughter Ruby Green Emberton (Harold) of Glasgow; 1 son Sammy Chester Green of Glasgow; 3 brothers Willard, Leroy and Bobby Deckard all of Glasgow; 1 sister Jeanne Knowlden of Oregon; a sister-in-law Eva Rose Deckard of Glasgow; 6 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great Great Grandchildren and special friends Delores Harvey and Georgia Estes. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Thomas Green, 2 brothers Floyd and Kenneth Deckard and a sister Sadie Moore. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 7, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Henderson Cemetery at Finney. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Wednesday.
