Louie Jeffrey Williams

Louie Jeffrey Williams, a dedicated heavy equipment operator and superintendent for Dirt Works, passed away on August 20, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital. He was born on February 7, 1963 in Glasgow, Kentucky. Louie lived a life rich with passion and a commitment to both his profession and personal interests.

Outside of work, Louie had a variety of hobbies that reflected his personality. He was an accomplished sketch artist, capturing the beauty of the world around him with pencil and paper. His love for the outdoors shone through in his interests in hunting and competition shooting, where he often found solace and excitement. An avid gun collector, Louie took pride in building a diverse collection that showcased both historical and modern firearms, a testament to his appreciation for craftsmanship and history.

Louie is survived by loving wife, Kimberley Williams; his father, Louie Williams Jr.; sisters, Merry Crews, Sharon Williams (Deloris), C.F. Williams, and Catherine Williams; as well as his beloved nieces and nephews, Justin Crews, Sarah Crews, William Myers, and Alida Myers. The bonds he shared with his family were foundational to his life, filled with love and cherished memories.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda (DeMumbrum) Williams; first wife, Margaret Louise "Weezie" Williams; paternal grandparents, Louie E Williams and Minnie Lee Williams; maternal grandparents, Roland DeMumbrum and Lena DeMumbrum; and uncle, William Perry DeMumbrum.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 24th at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with cremation to follow. The visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday morning until time for the service.  Burial will be in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens at a later date. 

Louie Jeffrey Williams will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, creativity, and love for family and friends will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
