Marilyn Alvey

Marilyn Ann Simpson Alvey, 68 of Glasgow passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2016 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Her request to be cremated was honored. A native of Cumberland County, she was preceded in death by her parents Willard Simpson and Lou Anna Garrett Simpson. Marilyn taught in the Barren County school system, worked as a federal food inspector and her last years of employment were with Sumitomo. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
