Marsha Gaye Detalente

Marsha Gaye DeTalente, age 59, of Cave City, Kentucky, passed away, Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at TriStar Skyline Medical center in Nashville, Tennessee surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Glasgow, Kentucky on December 17, 1964, to the late Marshall Logan Smith and JoAnn Logsdon Henderson who still survives. Marsha enjoyed canning with her mom and sister, the company of her dog, Bella and cat, Tanner, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Travis DeTalente; two sons, Joshua Powell (Lesley) and Jesse Powell (Christa); daughter, Whitney DeTalente; seven grandchildren, Camryn, Jayden, Trenton, Logan, Landon, Novah, and Jensen; one great grandchild, Kobe; two sisters, Sherry Bennett and Cathy Page; two step sisters, Karen Henderson and Sherry Barr; step brother, Jimmy Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Aubrey Powell; step mother, Jaunita Smith; step father, James Henderson; grandmother, Mamie Bartley; grandfather, Jesse Logsdon; and step brother, Richard Smith.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 5th, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
