Mary Abney

Mary Elizabeth Abney 74 of Glasgow died Monday October 18, 2004 at the Glasgow Health & Rehabilitation Center in Glasgow. She was the daughter of the late James Milt Abston and Elizabeth Mansfield Abston. Mrs. Abney retired from Mallory's in Glasgow and a member of South Green Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband Jessie L Abney of Glasgow; 1 foster son Timmy Runyon and wife Nicole of Atlanta, Ga. 3 sisters McRee Houchens and husband Charles, Sally Henry and Ruby Cloyd all of Glasgow; 1 grandson Ryan Runyon of Atlanta, Ga; 2 nieces Dugger and Sharon both of Glasgow; 5 nephews Brian Abston, Wayne Cloyd & Mitch Cloyd of Glasgow and Kevin Abston of Portland, TN and Bo Abston of Mt. Juliet, TN; 2 sisters in law Barbara Abston of Antioch, Tn and Jean Abston of Glasgow. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 1 son David L. Abney and 3 brothers Bill, Kenneth and Robert Abston. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday October 21, 2004 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery in Glasgow. Visitation will be after 4:00pm on Wednesday at the Funeral Home
