Mary Harris

Mary Elsie (Chaplin) Harris 80 of Glasgow died Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Barren County Healthcare Center. The Barren County native was a daughter of the late Charlie Elvin Chaplin and Vera Agnes Britt Chaplin and was the wife of the late Toby Harris, Jr. Mrs. Harris was a former bookkeeper for Carter Drugs in Fayetteville, TN. She is survived by 3 sisters, Lou Ella Pitcock (Darrell) of Glasgow, Jo Ann Lynn (Ralph) of Glasgow and Kay McCrary (Donald Ray) of Nashville, TN; 2 brothers Clyde Chaplin (Nancy) of Glasgow and Walter Chaplin (Brenda) of Tompkinsville; a sister-in-law Lois Chaplin of Fayetteville, TN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters Evelyn Lucille Skeeters and Pearl Agnes Chaplin and 2 brothers William Chaplin and Charlie Leroy Chaplin. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00 PM Sunday.
