Michael Howerton, age 74, of Glasgow, passed away at his residence, August 26, 2024. He was born in Louisville, on August 19, 1950, to the late Richard Howerton and the late Martha (Stengel) Wells. Michael was the drummer for The Waters.
He is survived by his wife, Elverta “Birdie” Howerton; brother, Glen Howerton; sister, Nancy Depp; two stepdaughters, Robin Joines and Hillary Johnson; two nephews, Chris Howerton and Glen Howerton, Jr; niece, Ashley Jones.
The family has honored Michael’s wishes to be cremated.
