Pamela Sue Packard was born on October 15, 1952, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and passed away on May 25, 2026, at Skyline Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. She will be fondly remembered for her unwavering dedication to the nursing profession and the profound impact she made on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her distinguished career, Pamela led several prominent medical facilities, serving as Chief of Nursing until illness necessitated her retirement. Her commitment to healthcare was not merely a profession, but a calling that extended beyond the walls of the hospitals where she worked. She devoted her life to helping others, touching countless lives through her compassion and expertise.

Pamela’s love for caregiving gracefully carried over into her private life. She cherished spending quality time with her family and friends, thriving in their company and offering the same kindness and support she provided in her career. Her home was one filled with warmth, love, and laughter, a testament to the generous spirit she shared so freely.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 20 years, Mark Kincaid; her sons, Keith Packard and his wife Nicole, and Brian Packard and his wife Ashley; and her beloved grandchildren, Blake, Chloe, Wyatt, Aiden, and Riley Packard. Pamela’s family extended warmly to her stepchildren, Clay Kincaid and his wife, Eve, Rachael Kincaid, and Anthony Kincaid and his wife, Nancy. She also adored her step-grandchildren, Isla, James, Ellee, Kailey Kincaid, Cade, Cole, and Craissa Stanley. Her circle of loved ones includes dear friends and family such as Rannah Freedman and her husband Harry, nieces Melissa Boswell, Kimberly Freedman, and Jodi Caldwell, nephew Steve Justus Jr., and cherished special friends Kim Padderson, Richard and Angelina Morales, Terri and Rosario Bustillos, Carla Bragg, and Shanda and Steve G.

Pamela was predeceased by her father, Hubert Dweyer; her mother, Bonnie Johnson Justus; and her brother, Steve Justus. Their memories live in the stories and hearts of those who loved her deeply.

The sacrifice of the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am, Monday, June 1st, at St. Helens Catholic Church with Father Joel Rogers of the Fathers of Mercy officiating, with burial in the Bragg Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00am, Monday, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Pamela Sue Packard’s legacy is defined by her selfless service, genuine kindness, and the profound strength of her character. She leaves behind a family and community forever touched by her caring nature and enduring spirit. Though she has departed from this world, the light she shone upon others will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
