Phillip Rex Elmore

Phillip Rex Elmore, affectionately known as "Daddy Elmore," passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025, at NHC Healthcare of Glasgow. He was born on November 4, 1946, in Barren County, where he dedicated much of his life to farming, nurturing both the land and his beloved family.

Phillip is survived by his son, William Elmore (Tabitha) as well as his grandchildren, Natalie Simpson, Cody Dubree, Abby (Nigel) Britt, Will Elmore, and Katie Elmore. He was a proud great-grandfather to Allie (Jon Luke) Vincent, Braxton Simpson, Briar, Brinlee and Brady Bragg, Lola and Flora Britt, Cash and Lillie Elmore, Adleigh Bridgeman, and Tripp Vincent. Phillip also shared special bonds with several nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by his warmth and kindness.

Phillip was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Bobbie Jo Dubree; his parents, Thomas Yancey Elmore and Nettie Lee (Mills) Elmore; his siblings: sisters, Wilma Greer and Pearl Davis; brothers, John (Josie) Elmore and Malcolm Elmore; as well as his granddaughter, Cierra (Kyle) Bragg; and great grandson, Cayne Matthew Elmore. Their memories will forever keep his spirit alive in the hearts of those who loved him.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 17th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home, with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 10:00 AM until time for the services at the funeral home.
