Rex Emberton

Rex Alexander Emberton 75 of Glasgow died Wednesday evening, June 1, 2016 at his home surrounded by friends and family. Rex was born in Barren County August 30, 1940 to the late Emmett Alexander Emberton and Ruby Irene (Nabors) Emberton. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving from 1958-1960. He retired in 1994 after 33 years employed as a route salesman and driver for Flavo-rich formerly known as Chappells Dairy. He was a lifelong member of Caney Fork Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Berry "J.B." Emberton and Billy Wayne Emberton; a brother-in-law Ed Hogue and two sisters-in-law Joyce Emberton and Edna Marie Emberton. Rex is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edna Hogue Emberton. Two sons Tim (Kim) Emberton of Glasgow and Tony (Sharon) Emberton of Summer Shade; 1 grandson Tyler Brent Emberton and fianc
