Richard Decker

Richard Lane Decker, age 50 of Leitchfield, passed away Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was born November 9, 1965 in Leitchfield, the son of Jesse T. & Dean Minton Decker. He is survived by five children, Thomas Salmon of Leitchfield, Jessika Decker of Horsebranch, Tyler Decker, Deanna Decker, & Kelly Decker all of Leitchfield, his mother Dean VanMeter, one sister, Glena Decker of Anneta, and one grandson, Xavier Salmon of Leitchfield. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Wayne Decker. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday (August 2, 2016) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the McGrew Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
