Robert Fields

RRobert Russell Fields, 60, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023 at U of L Health - Jewish Hospital. Russell was born January 31, 1963 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late L. B. Fields and Sue Devore Spivey. He was an extremely good carpenter and could build almost anything. Some would call him Mr. Fix It and he loved doing all kinds of projects for anyone. He also loved having coffee and doughnuts with friends or family.

Survivors include his son, Chadwick Fields (Holland); two grandchildren, Lily and Julius Fields; eight brothers and sisters, Danny Fields (Lynne), Virgil Fields (Bethany), Charles Spivey (Myra), Gina Demeter (Stephen), Cathy Dickens (Billy), John Mosier (Lisa), Ricky Mosier, Becky Thomas (Kenny); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Julius Alexander Leitner.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Fields will be held from 10:00 AM CST until 12:00 PM CST Wednesday, August 2nd at the Upper Room Harvest Church 900 Cleveland Avenue Glasgow, Kentucky 42141.
