Rollin Matison Bacon, age 88, of Glasgow, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at NHC of Glasgow. He was born in Glasgow, on June 21, 1936, to the late Charlie Bacon and the late Lottie (Matthews) Bacon. He owned Bacon and Copas Body Shop for 9 years. Mr. Bacon was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard and a member of Union #2 Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Bacon; daughter, Cherolyn Stacey (Michael); granddaughter, Mollie Ross (Jerred); grandsons, Caleb Stacey and Trevor Stacey (Cynthia); great grandson, Jason Ross; stepdaughters, Cheryl Rogers (Howard) and Cindy LaFond (Todd); grandchildren, Hannah Rogers, Lauren Rogers, Adam Puckett, Jill Puckett, and Jared Puckett; brother, Reid Bacon (Dot); several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Bacon; grandson, Landon Rogers; brother, Gordon Bacon.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 7th, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Union #2 cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday, and Sunday morning until time for the service.
