Romaine Laura Eckman, age 88, of Leitchfield, passed away Tuesday, May 30th 2017 at the Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. She was born August 29th 1928 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania the daughter of Samuel C. & Tillie Shirk-Stover. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Pfautz, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, two sisters, Kathleen Bensing & Marian Oster, and several nieces & nephews. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan M. Eckman, two sisters, Lillian & Gloria, and three brothers, Roger, Kenneth, & Luther.
