Ruby Houchens

Ruby Furlong Houchens 91 died Saturday, February 18, 2006 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. she was the daughter of the late Judson E. & Emma Landrum Furlong and wife of the late J. D. Houchens. Survivors include a son James Houchens (Tressie) of Glasgow; a daughter Etta Houchens Aiken (Lincoln); six grandchildren Charles Cochran (Aileen), Russell Wyatt (Patricia), Joseph Wyatt (Christy), Mark Wyatt (Rochelle), Julie Hatfield (Kenneth) and Scott D. Aiken; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Harry Houchens, a daughter Elizabeth Houchens Wyatt and five brothers Yancey, Earl, Frank, Les & Roy Furlong. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00pm Monday at the funeral home.
