Ruth Elaine Janovich

Ruth Elaine Janovich, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Glasgow, Kentucky. Born on December 22, 1928, in Vermont, Ruth was the daughter of Ralph Reynolds and Lillian Aird Reynolds. 

She possessed a sweet demeanor, always smiling and happy, radiating warmth and joy to everyone who crossed her path. Ruth's compassionate nature and unwavering positivity brightened the lives of many throughout her lifetime.

As a devoted homemaker, Ruth found fulfillment in creating a nurturing and loving environment for her family. Her hobbies included crafting, sewing, reading, and bird watching, showcasing her appreciation for creativity and the beauty of nature. 

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Marsha Ferris (Stephen), her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Stephanie, and Aaron, and her sister, JoAnne Pitzer. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Walter Janovich, her father, Ralph Reynolds, her mother, Lillian Aird Reynolds, and her brother, Tom Reynolds. Their memories will remain in the hearts of her family, as they remember the love and guidance they provided throughout Ruth’s life.

The family has chosen cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. 

Ruth Elaine Janovich's warmth, kindness, and bright smile will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the stories shared and the love left behind.
