Tony Byrd

Tony Dean Byrd, 66, of Glasgow, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on July 05, 1958, in Glasgow to his late parents, Donovan Byrd and Betty (Huff) Byrd. Tony worked at Wal-Mart as a sales associate until he was no longer able to do so and then enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Byrd; daughters, Melanie Moore (Kerry) and Melissa Evans (Darrin); seven grandchildren, Brennen Evans, Taylor Logan, Graysen Evans, Ava Evans, Emma Moore, Josey Moore, and Mia Evans; five great grandchildren, Ritter Logan, Mallory Evans, Lexi Logan, Roman Logan, and Leia Evans; two brothers, Carlos Byrd and Gary Byrd; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by three siblings, Donnie Byrd, Donna Bowles, and Kip Byrd.

In accordance with Tony’s wishes, the family has chosen cremation under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
