Veachel Mcguire

Veachel H. McGuire 92 of Glasgow died Wednesday December 24, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was a Barren County native, the son of the late Joe Chris and Wallace Moore McGuire and husband of the late Lucille Harper McGuire. Mr. McGuire was a farmer and a member of Caney Fork Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by one son Con (Mary) McGuire of Temple Hill; one sister Christine (John) Miller of Glasgow; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Rachel McGuire (Steve) Garrett and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son Steve McGuire, two sisters Irene Simmons and Earlene Jones and three brothers Mitchell, Ernie and Glen McGuire. Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Sunday December 28, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 8:30am until time for the service.
