Vesta Bowman

Vesta M. Bowman 88 of Glasgow died Friday January 2, 2009 at the NHC Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was a native of Kansas and was retired from Brookshire Bros. Co. in Katy, TX. Mrs. Bowman was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Glasgow. She was preceded in death by her husband Rexford Thomas Bowman, a son Tom Bowman, a grandson Anthony Bowman, two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include a son Ron Bowman and wife Cindy of Glasgow; a daughter Carol Fox and husband Dan of Salem, OH; daughter-in-law Mavonna Bowman; 3 grandchildren Tina (Mike) Meyers of St. Louis, MO, Todd Bowman of Lexington and Clay Bowman of Glasgow; 4 great-grandchildren Jeremy, Josh, Danielle and Rachel Meyers and a half brother George Van Osdol (Pam) of Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday January 5, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 PM on Sunday.
