Virginia Carolyn Bragg, age 65, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma brain cancer. Born on January 10, 1961, Carol lived a life rooted in love, faith, and resilience.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis Darrell Bragg, whom she shared a deep and enduring love with. Together, they built a life centered on family, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.
Carol leaves behind her four children: Darrell Bragg, Joey Bragg, Paula Bragg, and John Bragg, who were the pride and joy of her life. She was also a loving grandmother to Alanis Cook, Adrion Bragg, Alyssia Bragg, and Alyson Bragg, each of whom she cherished deeply.
Carol dedicated many years of her life working at the state hospital until her retirement, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and care. She had a vibrant personality, known for her sense of humor, quick wit, and ability to bring laughter even in the hardest moments. Carol was someone who truly enjoyed life and always found a way to stay positive.
Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, especially during her illness. Even in the face of such a difficult diagnosis, Carol fought with strength, grace, and determination, leaning on her faith and love for her family to carry her through.
Funeral services will be held at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on March 31, 2026. Family visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., with public visitation at 9:00 a.m. The service will begin at 12:00 p.m., followed by a graveside burial at Hiseville Cemetery.
Carol will be remembered for her strength, her laughter, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
