Virginia Lois Glass, of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, at TJ Samson Community Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on April 5, 1966, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to the late Raymond Edward Gulley and the late Nellie (Huff) Gulley. Her warmth and love for family will be dearly missed.
Virginia dedicated a significant part of her career as a Deli Worker at Houchens, where her colleagues and customers fondly remember her for her commitment and friendly demeanor. Beyond her professional life, she was a cherished member of The Way Church in Horse Cave, Kentucky, where her devotion and love for the Lord inspired many.
Virginia is survived by her beloved sons, BJ Glass (Megan), Matthew Glass (Kaylin), and Raymond Glass; along with her precious grandchildren, Madison Glass, Kenzie Glass, Hayden Glass, Hudson Glass, Paisley Glass, Hunter Glass, and Alisson Glass; who brought her immense joy. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Martha Maupin, Barbara Slayton, and Gail Brown (Steve); who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Gulley, James Gulley, Ray Gulley, and Allen Gulley; sisters, Nancy Wooten and Mary Batey.
Visitation to celebrate Virginia’s life will be held at A.F Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow, Kentucky, on October 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
Virginia Lois Glass will be remembered not only for her loving nature and faith but also for the numerous lives she touched throughout her journey. Her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
