Virginia Lynn Key

Virginia Lynn North Key, 71, of Austin, KY entered into rest on December 30, 2021 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Virginia was born on February 13, 1950 to the late Barry and Ann North of Gallatin, TN. She was a faithful member of the Lord's church, attending services at Poplar Log Church of Christ. She worked several years at RR Donnelley and Sons until retiring and beginning her most coveted position of Nana. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 51 years, Carroll Key; one daughter, Shelly Groce (David); one son, Matt Key (Darci); four grandchildren, Josh Groce (Julie), Haley Stewart (Christopher), Holly Harper (Ethon), and Blaye Key; four great grandchildren, Aubree and Ryker Groce, Auden and Ashton Harper; three sisters, Patricia Gulley (Joda) of Gallatin, TN, Pam Proffitt of Westmoreland, TN, Lisa Birge (Dale) of Austin; and a host of nieces and nephews, as well as her church family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Potter Children's Home 2350 Nashville Road Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101. The funeral service for Mrs. Key will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 4th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens.
