Wendy Poynter

Wendy Ann Poynter 58 of Knob Lick, KY died Monday, February 10, 2014 at her home. Born in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Patrick Costello and Dorothy Bragg Irwin. Mrs. Poynter was a farmer and homemaker. Survivors include her husband Wayne Poynter; 1 daughter Prissy Chapman and husband Steve of Edmonton; 1 son Dewayne Poynter and wife Darby of Edmonton; 1 step-son Cody White and wife Kim of Edmonton; 1 step-daughter Sandy Poynter of Edmonton; 3 grandchildren Jacob Chapman, Kayden Thompson and Megan Baldwin; 3 sisters Darlene Shirley and husband Maxie of Glasgow; Doris Johnson and husband Jonathan of Glasgow and Meshell Word of Edmonton; 3 brothers Gary Irwin of Edmonton; Michael Costello of Scottsville and Vincent Costello and wife Vickie of Edmonton and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 sister Lisa Adams, 1 brother David Neal Word and her Maternal grandparents Gladys and Joe Bill Bragg. Funeral services for Mrs. Poynter will be held 11AM Friday, February 14th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 3:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
