William Gayle Thomas

William Gayle "Bill" Thomas, 70, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born September 23, 1951, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late William Paul Thomas and Virginia Lee Grooms Thomas. Bill was a 1969 graduate of Glasgow High School. After graduation he enrolled in Technical College and receive his Master Electrician Certificate. He retired from Eaton Corporation after 27 years, then worked at Ely Drugs for 10 years. Bill was an Army National Guard Veteran and a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife since October 15, 1969, Sandra W. Thomas; two daughters, Randi Woolsey (Danny) and Bobbi Mayes (Joey), both of Glasgow; three wonderful grandchildren; several cousins; and many friends also survive. A graveside service for Mr. Thomas will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 14th at the Cedar Grove Cemetery. DAV Chapter #20 will provide Military Honors. A. F.
