Yancy Terry Mutter, 77, of Edmonton, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was born in Barren County on April 4, 1944, to the late R.D. and Annie Mae Smith Mutter. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during Vietnam. Yancy retired from R.R. Donnelley in Glasgow. He attended church at Winfrey Chapel in Metcalfe County. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mutter, one daughter, Lisa Rhinehart (Anthony); one stepdaughter, Angela Warf (Quentin); one stepson, Greg Hill (Kathy); brother, Danny Mutter (Christine); sister, Marla Netherton (Gary); one sister-in-law, Glenda Mutter; five grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Barrick; two brothers, Joe Mutter, and Bruce Mutter; one stepson, Derek Caffee. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Sunday, January 9th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. DAV Chapter #20 will provide Military Honors. Burial will be in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4:00pm -8:00pm and on Sunday morning until time for service at the funeral home. A.F. Crow is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Mutter.
