Zelma Gooden

Zelma Gooden 96 of Glasgow died Wednesday May 21st at the Glasgow Health and Rehab Facility. Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Troy and Letha Brown Palmore. Her husband was the late Garvin P. Gooden. She is survived by a daughter Betty Joyce Emmitt (Chester) of Cave City; 2 granddaughters Cheryl Page (Rickey) of Nashville, TN and Stacy Michelle Thompson (Joey) of Cub Run; a grandson Joe Donald Dickson (Sheila) of Columbia, KY and 9 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson Joe David Dickson and a great-grandson. Funeral services will be 12:00pm Saturday May 24, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Friday.
